Customer Excellence Awards

The Saba Customer Excellence Awards recognize Saba customers who have helped their companies, customers, or communities through innovative deployment of Saba products and solutions.

Award recipients are honored for achieving positive business results using Saba; demonstrating innovative strategies for aligning learning, collaboration, performance, and talent management systems; and achieving adoption of Saba solutions across their organization. In the humanitarian category, Saba customers are honored for their community service efforts.

Companies can nominate themselves or be nominated by Saba sales, channel or technology partners, or other companies or colleagues by submitting the attached PDF to bnick@saba.com All nominations must be received by midnight Pacific Time on Friday, August 22, 2008, to be eligible for consideration. One winner from each category will be selected by Saba management and will be notified no later than September 15, 2008. Each category winner will be recognized during the Saba People 2008 User Conference in Washington, D.C. on October 21, 2008.

Who Is Eligible?
All Saba customers, using any Saba product, solution, or software version (including Saba Learning, Saba Centra, Saba Performance, Saba Talent, Saba Collaboration, and THINQ) are eligible to participate in the Saba Customer Excellence Awards.

The awards will honor one winner in each category who exemplifies people management best practices.

People Management Award
Saba customers have deployed Saba solutions in a commercial business, government agency, or academic institution and achieved improved employee or business performance. All products qualify.

Informal Learning and Collaboration Award
Saba customers have achieved unique and far-reaching business advantages through their use of Saba Learning and/or Saba Centra (for example, by using Web conferencing, collaboration, or Web 2.0 technologies; mentoring programs; communities of practice; or a combination of several of these areas). All products qualify.

Business Impact Award
Saba customers have realized positive business results in the areas of revenue, productivity, and the adoption of HCM strategy for a business unit, department, or companywide. All products qualify.

Transformation Award

Saba customers have overhauled existing learning systems and deployed Saba solutions in a commercial business, government agency, or academic institution. The organization has established a learning or collaboration framework across all disciplines that is flexible, accessible, and relevant, and meets the needs of the firm and its clients. All products qualify.

Government/Academic Institution Award
Saba customers have deployed Saba solutions in a government agency or academic institution to improve management of their people or create a community to share knowledge and facilitate cross-functional collaboration. All products qualify.

Humanitarian Award
Saba customers have engaged in humanitarian services (local, national, or international) in a not-for-profit, charitable capacity using Saba solutions. All products qualify.

Mid-Market Company Leadership Award
Saba customers with revenues between $100 million and $600 million have deployed Saba solutions. The organization has aligned workforce goals with organizational strategy. The organization has invested in developing, managing, and rewarding their people and improving collaboration. All products qualify.
